Art Barn

Blair and I have been burning up the roads with fun activities this summer. My goal was to try to keep her occupied and have at least one fun thing to do each week. A few weeks back we went to the Art Barn with the Driskell girls. As usual, Blair loved the animals from about 25 yards away.

There were plenty of other things to do around the farm besides petting the animals. Farmer Sue taught us about the hens laying their eggs. Her fiancé took us on a hayride around the farm. And, we even got to do a fun art project. It was a fun, hot morning; which resulted in 3 girls being getting very tired! Mission accomplished!

We always have such a good time with the Quinny-Quinn and Lil' Ole Kathryn! We look forward to our next adventure!

Go Braves!

We didn't have any big Memorial Day plans at our house this year, so we decided to take Blair to her first Braves game. Felix had been trying to catch a game with her ever since baby Carter arrived, but I told them that Mommy didn't want to miss out on the fun. Plus, who would be their photographer for the day, right!?!? So, we got a sitter for the baby and headed to Braves Country. 

Blair loves a good sporting event. She just sits there in her Daddy's lap and asks about a million questions the entire time. The only time she wants to get out of her seat is when she has to potty or wants something to eat. So, we got us a few game dogs and enjoyed the beautiful weather.

My favorite part of the game was when they surprised this family on the field by bringing their Daddy home from deployment to spend Memorial Day with his family. There wasn't a dry eye in the stadium. It is moments such as these that make us so thankful for those who make so many sacrifices for our freedom.



Summer days like these make living in Atlanta so much fun. We are so fortunate to have so many things to do day in and day out with our kids. We can't wait to bring baby Carter to her first Braves game in a few years!
