OOC Weekend

August rolled around, and it was FINALLY time to have our annual OOC Weekend. We normally do late winter or early spring, but since we had a heap of babies that were born this past year, we had to move it back a little bit! It was Blazer's turn to host this time, so she invited us to her parent's beautiful lake home in Florence, AL. The most important rule is that everyone MUST attend! There are nine of us, so whether it be by car or plane, we usually all come rolling in around the same time. We go to drastic measures to get the kids taken care of so we can all be there!

We all hung out in the awesome pool house while we were waiting for everyone to roll into town. This bad boy is equipped with everything you possibly need, so there is no need to even go inside. This is where most of our time was spent.

Things were pretty calm until someone rolled up wearing this shirt...

And then before we knew it, someone else decided to take a turn wearing it!

Yes, they are serious. Both of these gals are pregnant with their 3rd child. Rigsby (on the left) has twin boys that are 22 months old, and Oakes (right) has a 20 month old little girl and a FIVE month old little boy! Lord bless her heart! Just when we thought we would have no sober drivers this year! Since we were already hyped up, it was the perfect time for the unveiling of the OOC t-shirt. Lucky for us, we have an expert on our hands, and she NEVER disappoints.

On Saturday, we woke up to another beautiful day. We packed some snacks and refreshments and took a little cruise down the lake. Little did we know this was the calm before the storm ;)

Good thing we had some down time during our boat ride, because things got heated up again when we returned. The OOC Olympic Officials came rolling in for some afternoon Olympic games.

Of course, the A-team took the gold when it was all said and done. And to our competition - there is always next year ;)

After completing our Olympic competition, it was time to get cleaned up for a sunset cocktail cruise. We got all dressed up in our duds and headed out on the boat for drinks and a nice dinner at Turtle Point Country Club.

We sure do clean up well, ladies!! It was an awesome, awesome weekend! It had been too long since we had all been together again. We are already making preparations for OOC 2013 which will be hosted by TT!  Let this next set of babies come into the world, and then it will be time to do it all over again!

Slumber Party

Blair has really been missing her buddy, Katherine, the past 6 months. With all these babies being born, it really took a toll on Katherine and Blair's play dates. When Anna Kate and Virginia said they wanted to make a trip to Atlanta, we were giddy with excitement!  We had to break out their "slumber party treats" first thing!

We managed to get all 4 girls dressed and out to dinner at a reasonable hour. We won't mention who wore who's sun sandals ;)  It's hectic getting all these kids out the door!

When we got home it was time to get into our matching Ariel gowns (thanks Dee Dee!) and get ready for the slumber party! After a bedtime story and a busted lip it was time for the girls to go to sleep. Thanks to the exhaustion, the girls did pretty well. Luckily for them, they passed the test to have a 2nd sleepover in the near future!

The next morning, we had a little photo session and then headed to the American Girl Bistro for lunch. I thought we were going to have to keep Gigi from running home and getting her "Molly"doll. The girls loved feeding their dolls and indulging in milkshakes and ice cream.  If only the carousel were located in the restaurant! That would have sealed the deal ;)

We had a wonderful visit! I was so happy that Carter got to meet her new friend, Libby. Blair and Katherine are 4 months apart in age and Carter and Libby are 3 months apart. It is going to be so much fun making such fun memories with these girls in the future and buying matching smocked outfits !!! Hee hee! Can't wait to see you all again very soon!
