Wedding Bells

We can't believe it! Dora/Granny/Jeff/Jess is getting hitched!!! She has waited long enough for her Prince Charming, and she has FINALLY found him!! There was no other way to send this Granny off into marriage-hood other than have a fun girl's weekend at Ross Bridge!

Mother Nature decided to play tricks on us the first weekend in May, so our day of lounging by the pool turned into finding some top shelf margaritas at a Mexican restaurant ;)

We did manage to get in a little outdoor time after lunch. It was still chilly, but at least the sun was shining!!

And who knew that we could even shop at this shin-dig? Payton from The Pant's Store was  nice enough to set up a little pop-up shop in our rooms so we could find us something to wear for our night out! That was until I knocked the clothes rack down....

I think Jess was so surprised that she even got to have her own candlelight at her Bachelorette Party!  She has some really thoughtful friends who came up with the idea, and I thought it was so cute!

Granny, I am SO happy for you and Jack!!! I can't wait to show Decatur what's up just in TWO short months!!! I promise to not fall asleep on the dance floor ;) Love you!!!

Spring Fun

We have had a lot going on at Blair's school this spring. With the end of school very near, it seems we have something going on nearly every day. We kicked the season off with a program called Preschool Days. Blair's class sang all of the songs they have been learning in music class.  Of course, it was just another event that caused me to get all choked up ;)

Next up, we had the Carnival Caper. Blair's school put on a great carnival this year as a fundraiser. We were flirting with a tremendous chance of rain, but it worked out just fine. And you know us....we tried one million to times to win the cake walk! We never lucked up there, but I did snag one in the silent auction ;) In case you are wondering, Blair still doesn't like Elmo. I have ruined her for life ;)

And just this week, we had Mom's Day. The children helped prepare a wonderful breakfast for the mom's and even made us the most precious jewelry boxes. It was a very special morning.

I can't believe it is MAY! We have just a few functions left and then school is out for summer! Time sure does fly when you are having fun, and I can't believe my baby will be in Pre-K next year! We are looking forward to a very fun and laid back summer!
